I wasted 13 pounds worth of 10ps trying to do the first bit of Defender, and I'm proud!
I got onto the second bit and then it was closing time. Ruined my afternoon.

The graphics were poor, the controls limited and the amount of fun I had playing the game was minimal.

Just like the good 'ol days then.

*Starts to reminisce about Horris goes skiing and Manic Miner*

Heh.

The original Castle Wolfenstien was about 100 times better than that. And anything off the C64/Spectrum/etc was about ten times worse. No way it could have handled that frame rate.

Interesting, all the same.
