Things are starting to get just a little beyond a joke now.
Pikmin is quite literally, taking over my life. I took the day off school today to sit and play with the little blighters, and I barely stopped throughout the day. So that was me, up at 8am, until about 6pm, just sitting around getting these little colourful creatures to collect spaceship parts for me, kill annoying enemies for me, and just generally do anything I want them to do.
I have now completed the game twice, once with 28 ship parts in the 30 days, and the second with all the ship parts in 24 days. I'm probably going to end up completing it another few times too, just to see a.) how many Pikmin I can get throughout a 30 day period, and b.) see the quickest amount of days I can complete it in.
I am loving Challenge Mode too, which is excellent fun, and very addictive. ("Just one more go, please - I'll beat my previous score"). Challenge Mode rocks, and I now have 5 scores for each of the areas, which may well be referred to as 'sad'. I'd like to hear some of the scores other people have got on this, for each of the areas, to see how I compare. Lets hear yer scores! Has anyone else become immersed in the little monkeys, or am I just the one sad and deranged idiot who fantasises over red, blue and yellow plant-like creatures that I am God to? Hope not.
Well, that's enough mindless rambling from me about nothing in particular - I'm off to play Pikmin.

Pikmin is the most fantastic game in the world, for about 10-15 hours.
Then once you beat it once, there's a tiny bit of replayability, but it soon sinks in that the trip is over, and you're back down to earth.
Brilliantly original and ingenious in design but so criminally short.
I hope Shigsy is planning something BIG for the sequel...

What happens in the bad ending?
I loved it, only i played it when my GC was playing up so it stopped every 5 seconds :(
im scared to play it again in case my GC goes funny again.

It's definitely worth playing.
I was thinking of getting a pre-owned copy of Pikmin, but is it worth it? Should I just rent it instead? It does look good.
Pikmin was superb while it lasted, took me 2 goes to get all 30.
Hopefully the sequel will last longer, I reckon 100 ship parts and warring factions of Pikmin so you have to go into realtime battles with Pikmin.

Pikmin is good, i played through it twice and then sold it.
the first time i played Pikmin I got all the ship parts on 29days. When I figured out the last piece was a piggy bank I got pretty mad. Did any of you!
