Sadly, I think this is on the Dual G4 750. Well, I am not complaining, I know my one downstairs has the Ge3 chip in it. Anyway Reaper, that new iMac is the bogs dollocks.

Bloody amazing.

Right, some comments ripped from beyond3d:

"The ultimate expression of style over substance."

"What in hell is that *thing*!? It looks like a 50's vacuum cleaner or something. Or a 50's era vision of a 2000 era vacuum cleaner. Or, well, some kind of vacuum cleaner anyways"

"its really ugly actually. Apples computers just look more and more wierd."

And I have to do one nice one..

"I think Apple has done it again, created something that looks simple yet beautiful. I think they are the only company that understands style"

I still think it makes a nice hat. They do have an audience in the consumer market, and Macs really should make more sense for people who aren't obsessive overclockers and tweakers, great for home use or powerful industry work. However, it's obviously not the case, as following that theory then macs should have the largest share of the market..

Oh, joby, GF3s as standard? "All models ship with the fearsomely fast NVIDIA GeForce2 MX graphics processor for photorealistic games and spectacular 3D graphics", according to Apple.

It's a lamp.

It looks wrong for the office and home. I liked the first design I saw which was a rack thin 1 U case with a flat display. That could have been used as a server or workstation.

What a machine, what a price.

Look at what you are getting before you complain about the price.

Don't say it can't run PC games, because it can with a little software called Virtual PC.

Mac have just announced a 38million dollar first quarter net profit.... Microsoft have just announced a first quarter 100+million dollar loss.

*goes to bed with a smile from ear to ear*
