I'm not happy.

It is true, MS are selling the xbox in japan with signifiant loss, but if my memory serves me right, I thought they were selling it at £220, or mabye it was $220.
I can't remember. It could well be £120 cheeper, as MS said they don't plan to make profit with the xbox for years.

If this is true, I am very impressed- for MS to sell the console at such a huge loss over in Japan (it makes a loss even when it's selling at £300 remember!), shows their commitment to the Japanese market... they're making a real go of things!

Shame they couldn't do the same here though!

You should know that UK gamers get the worst prices in the world.

The ultra low xbox price in japan is to ensure a successful launch and to kill of any thoughts that it won't do well over there.

The jappenise are also getting limited edition see through xbox consoles. MS are kissing jappenise butt, it will pay off though.

We better get the smaller controllers aswell however.
