Been running a TNT Pro 64 graphic card.
S'alright, 32mb jobbie.

But SR have a 64mb Sparkle Geoforce II64mb Nividia for £79.99.
And I got one tonight.

Oh lordy....sweet gaming heaven.
My old card was adequate, did a benchmark test and it came out at 800.
Did the same test on the new card?
2475.

3 times the speed and power.
All for less than £100.
You mentalist PC Owners really, really should get one if your not rocking a 64mb card.
The difference is stunning.
ALL my games on max detail with no slow-down at all.
And don't worry it's "Sparkle", it's still Nvidia.
It's still the shiniest, fastiest thing I've had in meh machine for yonks.

Now instead of playing games all night on the PC, I go to ma woman and play games all night.
Hur hur hur

How do you do a 'benchmark test'?

Go to www.madonion.com, download 3d Mark 2001, and possibly 2000, depending on the age of your PC. I'd like to push my score above 7000 on 2001 tonight, currently at 6694...shouldn't be hard, that was with my box underclocked..

Grix, the GF3s are dropping fairly quickly, they're a fairly short term card. GF4s will be around in the not-too-distant future, along with Kyro3s at a fraction of the price. I think I'd rather buy a GF3 Ti200 now than get a GF2 - it may be £150 for the Ti200 as opposed to £120 (for a comparable GF2), but you can take advantage of the extra features of the GF3 gpu.

GF2 MXs are good budget cards.
GF2 Ultra/Ti are good, but I'd get a GF3 Ti200 instead, not much extra
GF3s are superb
GF3 Ti500s are excellent, especially discounted..

And who cares about ATI Radeons..always stuck with nVidia and will continue to do so.

You can buy a GameCube for that much.
