I haven't read a lot recently, but I found Northern Lights (Phillip Pullman) to be a very interesting read, so that ranks up there for me and if the intro to Lord of the Flies has anything to go by, that will be up there too. I hope to get into more reading now and possibly check out the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books which (shock horror) I haven't read.
