Not only is a new console already in development (GameCube 2 if you will, but it certainly won't be called that on release), but it is due for release within months of the PS3 assuming the schedules are kept to on both sides.

Sony have won this particular "console war", but the next one is wide open.

Only concern is that like sega, will nintendo have released its last console??

What will we ever do without nintendo in the future?, if they decide to make games like sega instead of consoles

Marketing and the fact it was relased nearly two years earlier! We know it's a great machine but as long as you're happy with the games, what concern is it how other "rival" consoles are doing?
