While flicking through the latest NGC (after buying it when told to by Dringo), I came across an advert for Edge. On it, there was a large picture of some kind of mule on a psychedelic background. Printed on the bottom, were the words:

"Jeff Minter is back with a Tempest 3000 follow-up. It's only on GameCube. And it's only in Edge."

Now I know some of you lot like Jeff Minter for his work on a game called Llammatron (or something like that?) but this advert took me by surprise. I don't really know who Jeff Minter is, what this Tempest 3000 thing is and why it's only on GameCube.

Anyone have any details?

So this follow up is called Unity and is similar to Rez, then? So what else can you tell me about it? And what was Tempest 3000?

Or Llamatron, for that matter?

Llamatron was the funniest and bestest game ever.

And Psychadelic to the extreme.

Unity is anew GC shooter, in a similar vein to Rez, and is also psychadelicly coloured.
