Scenario - Internet cafe. Somebody has previously clicked 'Yes' and allowed Windows to remember a password. Somebody else comes along and uses the remembered password to access the protected area.

How can I stop this? Can I stop this?

My first thought is not calling the password input box "password" but will Windows just pickup that it is a password input box any way?

Help much appreciated on this one guys, Tyla, Turbonutter??

I've won, erm, 9 times (I think) and I'm always the last to know. Bloody typical.

Hehe, I only noticed 'cos I looked at my stats to see how many posts I've made... You don't get an email or anything, you just have to notice that you won. Comanche 4 is my choice, Goatboy gave it 10/10 so it can't be too bad ;)

It won't work... All you've done is modify the fields, It still won't stop windows from remebering what was typed in as you cannot change the security setting of windows/IE throug the browser!! It just won't let you do it!!

Actuall it will... But MS won't tell me!!

We know about the speed issue, still trying to find a way of slowing it. I think mast of it is due to the bandwith it currently has... 1 million user a month, thats, 333,333 users on average a day!! Hense the slow down!

I'm pretty sure he didn't miss off a quote .... but like you say, I'm sure that won't work, it'll make sure the box is empty, but where windows stores the details, they will pop up in a little list by the box.
