As any gamer should know, both the X-Box and the GameCube are being released onto the market this year while the PS2 was released almost two years ago. To compete with this, SONY are going to release the first Platinum series with games such as TTT and GT3 likely to be converted. Also, as another bid to compete with it, they will release an internal hardrive, which should be around £103.

NOBODY will buy the harddrive.

Too expensive.

People are saving up for the 'AMAZING' modem.

Just over a year in the UK, but 2 years in Japan so the PS2 is technically 2 years old!!

Sounds a bit dodgy to me especially as the UK price isn't confirmed yet? In Japan it comes as part of your online subscription, in the USA, it's included with the main system, by=ut they're still paying $299 for it, as for the UK... Who knows!!

It will be a great idea and one that will sel well.
