Everyone seen about the shuttle Columbia on the news ? Looks like its exploded on re-entry. The debris coming down looks just like the Challenger shuttle when that blew up. :-(
Looks like the debris is gonna hit Texas when it comes down, hopefully it won't do much damage.
Can only imagine what the families of the 7 member crew are going through right now.
Anyway, its on the news if anyone wants to see whats happening.

Mmm. Train crashes in Australia, 8 people die, it gets a lot of news coverage - especially on news channels, and a decent amount in the papers.
Train crashed in India a few months back, killed 126 people. I saw a 3 minute clip about it at 1am on BBC News 24, and it got a single 3 inch long column in the paper the next day. When I wanted information on it I had to search quite hard on the net.
Didn't see anyone around here mourn that one.
