Looks like the debris is gonna hit Texas when it comes down, hopefully it won't do much damage.
Can only imagine what the families of the 7 member crew are going through right now.
Anyway, its on the news if anyone wants to see whats happening.
Astronaut is one of the most useless proffessions around at the moment.
What does NASA stand for?
Need another seven astronauts.
hehe
Fool.
People do die every day, but this was different. It was seven, good people. Astronauts, and it was a fault on the space shuttle. The President is showing respect - why can't these guys?
---------------
Oh, right. Because it was seven people, we are supposed to feel seven-times more sorry for them.
Sorry, but I don't buy that. Loss of life, no matter how many or great, is LOSS OF LIFE. You can't measure it by "How many people died", for example.
And the President showing respect? Bullplop. If he wants to show respect, how about showing respect to the average American, and not going into war head-first.
And again, "The President is showing respect - why can't these guys?". It is the same basic principle; why should we show dead people more respect, merely because they have been shrewn across the front pages of the Sunday paper, ITV, etc? If we are to do that, then I will gladly start a "Deaths Which nobody knows/ cares about" topic. But then, you'd think that was a bit stupid, wouldn't you? Much like I do, with you accusing these guys of not showing enough respec'. Sorry, but I show enough respect to the living AND the dead; and don't need anyone to tell me how to mourn a stranger.

Agreed.
