Though as the original game featured drivers in the cars, and these screenshots don't, I'm guessing they're demo graphics for publicity purposes only.
It will be more impressive if they look as good in the final game, complete with drivers.
Must be a really short man.

Anyway, Those screenshots look s.w.e.e.t! I thought the original PGR had excellent graphics, But this is really showing what the Xbox can be pushed to. It most likely has no drivers because its early in development.

Indeed. These shots don't actually show us anything. To be honest, I don't even see the Xbox as being capable of pushing around 6 or more cars at that quality with all the in-game mechanics going on as well.
While The Getaway looks excellent, remember how much better the pre-release screens were? Pre-release screens are one thing - actual final graphics, when the machine has much more to deal with, can be quite another. So excuse me if I remain slightly skeptical!
Still, here's hoping!
And lets pray that the gameplay has been similarly improved - less cone gates and more real racing!
