Hmm, could be a tricky one. Do you think you'd be okay to finish it for the first deadline?
Presumably you're allowed to hand it in early, so if you took the second deadline you'd be able to hand it in at some point between the two?
But then you have to decide whether you think you'll actually use the time productively, or get complacant, sit around and end up with something of no better quality than if you'd done it normally.
Still, so long as you feel you can get keep the motivation up, and I expect you can, I'd sugget you take the extra time, get it done as soon as possible and hand it in when you feel ready.
That's how I'd look at it anyway.

Sorry for the delay. Crazy day.
Looked in my junk mail this morning and found an e-mail with the subject Final Year Project. So I opened it. Here's an extract from it :-
" I have spoken with Alan Oswald (Project Co-ordinator), and we have agreed
that you should be offered the option of the suspension of your project with
immediate effect, with resumption after the final year assessments. We would
expect your project to be completed (i.e. handed in) no later than 4 weeks
after your last assessment, with the viva taking place at some point after
that. "
This is cos my project supervisor who I'm surpose to meet once a week has been off ill and I haven't seen him since december. I've got to make the choice if I want to take this extension or hand in my project in just under a couple weeks. I kinda want it out of the way, but extra time...
If I say no is that looking a gift horse in the mouth. Or if I take it, is it dragging out what I could get done and handed in?
grrr! Need to go discuss it with the woman who sent me the e-mail. Tried to see her today, but she wasn't about!
