Duck vs Cook(y)
In fairness, anyone else probably won't care about the thread, unless you want to.. um.. follow the game on your own board? No?
Okay then...

F2 to G4

I read it as the pursuasive reason. Figure you know your geography a tad better than I do!

Yep, sounds clear.

Although all of a sudden it seems a lot more complicated than I'd expected...

The way that I've done it, which I think/hope's the way it should be done is to use three points. One in the center(front) of the car, and two at the rear, either side of the car. All points start off vertically inline with each other. And the three points always stay a set distance above the track. Now say you come up against a slope, the front point when it's on the slope will lift up, to stay its set distance from the track. We now calculate the angle made between this front point and a mid point between the two back points. You then rotate the car by that angle to make the car stay inline with the three points.

Basically that's how it works. Hope you understood that. Would make me think what I'm about to write in my report will make sence to whoevers readin' it.

'Some place sunny' as in that's one of the more pursuasive reasons for going there, not as in to avoid the question 'Where is africa?'

The whole following the contours thing, do they program that by the game detecting where the car is and where the roads are, or do they plot the info of how the car moves within certain co-ordinates seperately, to fit in with the grid/shape of the road graphics when it's all put together?

Always wondered...

Heard about a Morocco holiday thing today. Well, saw a poster. £285 for 3 weeks in July/August time.

Don't know if it'll be possible, but I'm definitely interested...

Yes, I meant knight.

Looks like we're both going crazy then. Shame, a few more months and it wouldn't mess up the degree...

Sorry, me going crazy. Finishing off final yr project n all.

Finally got the blast'd car to go up and down hills, and the car actually physically follow the contours of the road to. Wooha! Just need to make a decent track which takes advantage of this great new feature.

Oh, and you meant knight above? (I hope)

Anyways,

H3 to F2
