i was in town today and they were doing pre orders on the x-box at dixons and the que was empty...lol.....so i asked them if they had any left (An empty que could of ment they were sold out) and they said "Yeah, we have quite alot(Well...even i was surprised)
Do u want to pre order one?" ......i quikly replied "Ehhh...arrr...erh....i havent got any money on me" and rushed off quikly. But i was very surprised they had a load left.....they were predicted to sell out within a hour.....well dixons had been open 5 hours. Oh well....hard look microsoft

It sure is, but with Internet access at your finger tips. Wasn't like that in my day at school (I'm 22).

That only applies to consoles available at launch and not when they become less rare thats in a couple of months after the launch.
Its no surprise that Dixons still have forms, I mean I went three days after September the 7th which was officially the first day to take pre orders for your Playstation 2 and dixons still had a couple of forms left and I got my Playstation 2 on the Launch day, sorry SR (please dont ban me) but I think that dixons have the most consoles than any other retailer probably of the way they do their deals with the big firms in the electronic industry.
