In a marble hall white as milk
Lined with skin as soft as silk
Within a fountain crystal-clear
A golden apple doth appear.
No doors there are to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in to steal its gold.

What am I?

but when I'm known, I'm nothing.
What am I?

A sofabed
4 legs in the morning cause you sleep
2 legs in day cause you're sitting on it
3 legs in evening cause you lay back and relax(extra leg in middle of sofabed to tilt back)
