Why do you have to buy a memory card for the x-box when it has an 8-gig hard drive built in?
Cant you save games onto the hard drive?

Of course you can save games on the Hard Drive, not to mention the ability to download others, as well.

The memory card is obviously there so you can take it to your friend’s house, or enter competitions with it. I mean it's not like they’re going to make you take your HDD instead.

If the x-box is so connected, you should be able to save games to the web then pick them up from your mates place.

Wookie monster,
you have a fair point, not only would removing the HD invalidate the warranty but it would a tad annoying unscrewing a HD everytime u wanna go to a mate's house and a tad uncomfortable and embarrassing carrying it around....
