I think you would invalidate your warranty removing the HD to take your saves round to a friends to play. :-)
well could'nt they have had a floppy drive or something the mem cards cost a lot.

you have a fair point, not only would removing the HD invalidate the warranty but it would a tad annoying unscrewing a HD everytime u wanna go to a mate's house and a tad uncomfortable and embarrassing carrying it around....

easy get your mate to come round your house and let them buy a memory card :)
If the x-box is so connected, you should be able to save games to the web then pick them up from your mates place.
