according to datels, codejunkies site, you dont even need a NTSC compatible tv to work the NTSC (american or jap) games.

i always thought u needed an NTSC tv and site slike lik-sang say you do,
i know its not out yet, but surely we have to believe datel!

This thread is all about not having an NTSC compatible TV, and you are still likely to get bad frame rates, or at least some jerkiness.

Wrong, you would only get this if you tried to play a 60hz game on a non-NTSC compatible telly without an RGB lead.

I doubt Datel would release somehting that would only run NTSC games in 50hz.....I hope not anyway, i've already ordered mine.

Or you could get side-effects like bad frame rates or even games playing in black and white.

If it's true it's worrying cos it would imply 60hz games get forced to play at 50hz. In which case Freeloader can F*&K OFF!
