And not Sexy Beast, Goatboy, because Bolockbuster don't carry it any more. Despite it funning well being on the funning shelf. I queued to take that funning movie to the funning counter only to be given a bunch of funning crap by some funning staff member. Then I had to funning well find something else.
I'm a bit of a De Niro fan, in case you hadn't noticed.
Still got Arlington Road to see, although I'm not sure when I'll get round to it :-(
;)
15 minutes is a very good film though, forgot about that one. It's about people who video their murders and de Niro is the cop after them, but a news TV show called 15 minutes tries to get in on the act.

It was a crime thing, really good, Norton was his usual

That was called 15 Minutes, and it is out now.
I haven't seen it yet, but planning to at some stage.
I bought Mean Streets yesterday and watched it last night. What can I say? Scorcese and De Niro at their best. I *think* I'm right in saying that was the film where they first worked together, and practically launched both of their careers, but Harvey Keitel (sp?) is damn good in it as well.
Well worth a watch, but I doubt they have it to rent anymore.
>Boogie Nights is fantastic.
yeah, I got this one. Excellent, in every way.
'Dirk Diggler'
Has anyone seen Rated-X?
It's another movie about the porn industry set in the same time period, starring Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez.
I haven't seen it yet, but I have a friend that's an extra in it, so I'll rent it to try to spot him!

Blow is pretty good.
Boogie Nights is fantastic.
The Princess Bride
Withnail & I

Heh. Another one which has disappeared from the damn shelves.
Mind you, I might not be looking hard enough, the concept of the alphabet is a little tough for some of the Blockbuster staff.
the plot is that a class of 30 14 year olds have been sent to the island to blow each others brains out. the winner is the survivor.
sick but funny to watch.
