It's that time again when you must recommend a film for me to rent.

And not Sexy Beast, Goatboy, because Bolockbuster don't carry it any more. Despite it funning well being on the funning shelf. I queued to take that funning movie to the funning counter only to be given a bunch of funning crap by some funning staff member. Then I had to funning well find something else.

If you want a long(ish) involved film, try something like Jackie Brown, or like Your Honour said, Casino. Something visually impressive? Maybe Dark City or Gattaca. If you want something a bit different, try the animated film Perfect Blue. Not very famous, but it really deserves a bigger audience. It's got one of those 'What is reality?' plots that screws with your mind.

If you like Waynes World - then get Ladies Man (US)
If you like Die Hard - Swordfish (US) (28th Jan)
If you like Lord of the flies - Battle Royale(Jap)(21st Jan)
If you like Poop - Bridget Jones and Tomb Raider
If you like Rush Hour - Rush Hour 2
If you like Hitchcock - What Lies Beneath
If you like bore me later films - The Mexican
If you like The Mummy - The Mummy Returns
If you like Jurrassic Park 1 - Jurrassic Park 3
If you like toy story and Austin Powers - Shrek
Films such as Pearl Harbour, Evolution, Doctor Doolittle 2 and Cats & Dogs are not even worth considering.

Hope this helps.

A little known of film called Ravenous is damn good, it's hard to explain the storyline it's kind of like Deliverance meets Silence of the Lambs, it really is like nothing i've ever seen before. It stars Guy Pearce, Robert Carlisle and David Arquette it's damn entertaining and worth a watch.

Get Memento, even if you've already seen it.

It rocks! Just like rocks do.

I'm a bit of a De Niro fan, in case you hadn't noticed.

Still got Arlington Road to see, although I'm not sure when I'll get round to it :-(

De Niro isn't in Arlington Road, BTW.

It's just MR Nice Guy kept going on about Arlington Road, saying how good it was, and I saw it so I bought it.

Moving onto Casino though Bonus, it's a damn fine film.

I won't say anymore than that, as I don't want to spoil it for you.

Just don't watch it when you're knackered, it's a film you need to pay a bit of attention to, to get the best out of it.
