I bought Extermination the other day at a knock down price of £15, considering the great things I'd heard about this title and the screenshots I'd seen I figured I picked up a bargin. After getting stuck on the AWESOME fear effect 2 I decided to give it a try and oh what a pile of poo.

*takes deep breath*

The camera's wrong, It jerks round corners and has blind spots at crucial places leading to your death (damn shame) The music is TERRIBLE like one of them low budget sci-fi films and the voice acting is like 2 people in separate rooms recording at different times (not in a proper conversation) I bet the actors never even met each other. In first person view it takes FOREVER for the dude to aim where you want to shoot, could have had the L1/L2 button to speed it up but noooooooo.

The controls are again awful, I died many times because X does numerous things at different moments and the rest is as clumsy as they come. Everytime you walk through a door or pick up a file/item there's this irratating fade out screen with a bass twang and arggghhhhhh it WILL get to you. The whole story is sooooooo cheesy, hmmmm plane explosion, forced to parachute, find an abandoned military base or something that they'd never heard of, then all of a sudden start looking for some cindy girl, like hello. Climbing through Vents, Hiding from Cameras, sound familar?? konami won't be too pleased with this game and the sound used for the zombie dogs is a direct copied sample from the cerebuses from resident evil 1, R I P-O F F, I'm talking BIG TIME and what's the deal when you get infected when he drops every 2 secs, hmmm can anyone think of a better way to "pee" off the player, I can't.

There's always a blizzard at the side of the base yet somehow on the heliport (roof) there's a few snowflakes, is that possible?? The characters mouths move like they're chewing hubba bubba not talking and I still don't know what this game was trying to aim for, it's neither freaky, remotely scary or anything. It's just aload of weird things running about the place waiting to be shot oh, maybe they were going for an all out action thing, nah rubbish either way. It took about 40 mins for this game to EVENTUALLY pick up but 2+ hours into it everything but the snazzy visual effects is pure and simple trash, I don't care enough to finish it.

aaaahh, thanks for reading, Hardly worthy of a topic but i just had to get that off my chest, Well back to the saucy babes of fear effect :-)
