Everyone knows that there are many games that never get to leave Japan because they seem unsuitable and are normally only suited to the Japanese culture, well Pokemon has had so many spin offs you had no idea about. Here are a few:

POKEMON PINK -
We all know about the GameGirl and Luigi's Mansion; both promoting gaming for females. But Pokemon is even better. You take control of Fluffy; a young girl who just loves little animals and she wants to capture them all because they're sooooo cute (Her words, not mine). You have to venture through the island of Cuddlebug catching brand new never-before seen monsters such as Cuteroundthing and Anotherkindofcuteroundthing. Wow, these Japanese names.

POKEMON BROWN -
This is Pokemon with a twist. It's a boxing game! But not any old type of boxing, mud boxing! Yes, you take on various creatures and punch their lights out the ring to get to your ultimate goal - the Super Featherlight Weight Championship. But it's not an easy ride...

POKEMON DIAMOND -
In this bizzare game you take control of one of six Pokemon gang members. Your job? Sneak into various banks; avoiding alarms and cameras and steal valuable jewellery and in the end the elusive... Diamond.

POKEMON RUBBER -
No, no, no. Get all those dirty thoughts out of your head; in this you simply burn rubber. You take to famous tracks as your favourite little beasts! In total there are 6 (!) tracks to race through including an underwater one especially for the les fortunate Pokemon who have to live in the water. At the end of each race you'll be able to choose a part for your vehicle depending on how well you did. This can include a novelty horn, a bike rack and sidecar.

POKEMON POND -
Yes an unusual name and yes, an unusual game! This is a water sports game for all you favourite water-dwelling beasts. You can water ski, swim... swim, surf and even navigate a boat! I know what you're thinking, that must be a pretty huge pond, and you'd be right. Also you can unlock ponds all around the world, including sunset beaches, frozen ponds for winter sports and the elusive Blackpool Beach, where you have to fight off the cold while swimming, nasty!

POKEMON PURPLE -
Another breakthrough by Nintendo! In this game you must make as many purple pies as possible! Race against the clock as you collect ingredients, but watch out, if you get the wrong one your little critter will be sick and you have to clean it up the long awaited sequel will be out... never.

Well there you have it, many things you didn't know about!

Thanks for reading
