Even though I'm a Pokémon fan, I'm going to give the Pokémon Mini a miss (at least until it comes to the end of it's life, which in my opinion wont be long).
The Pokémon Mini wont be as popular as in the States or Japan because Britain has much less Pokémon fans nowadays. So I can't see it doing too well in the UK, sadly.
It would've been better if Nintendo concentrated more on new Pokémon games than a new console specifically for Pokémon games.
