We've had 4 different leaders so far this year. (Arsenal, Leeds, Newcastle and Man Utd).

Can anyone rememner when there were so many teams with a realistic chance of winning at this stage?

I can remember a few 3 horse races, but there are 5 teams within a few points of each other, all could win it if they hit top form.

Some people might also include Chelsea in the title race, making 6 teams in it.

That's incredible.

Me being a Liverpool supporter, I'm sorry to say that I think Man Utd will win the league this year. They are consistent, and even if the opposition score lots of goals past them, they are able to score more. They also have the added bonus of premiership winning experience, I.E, they know what is required of them, and can handle the pressure.

My table predictions at the end of the season:

1:Man Utd.
2:Liverpool.
3:Arsenal.
4:Leeds Utd.
5:Newcastle

That was the problem with the Premiership though. Not enough teams were fighting for the title. Italy and Spain have great leagues and they are really open. England used to be Man Utd and whoever did best with Man Utd usually winning.

ah..see..

I see the table ending like this.

Man Utd
Arsenal
Leeds
Newcastle
Liverpool

If Van Nistelrooy stays fit United shouldnt have a problem retaining the title in his current form.

Arsenal had been flying when Henry was in top form, but he seems to be going through a crap patch at the moment.

Leeds really gotta sort out thier "thug" image as refs dont seem to think twice about sending thier players off.

Newcastle...hmmm. Dyer added somthin very special to the team with his return, but i dont see Newcastle winning it.

Liverpool really need Houllier back. Owen also seems to have hit a rough patch...more down to lack of service though. All Liverpool were doing against Arsenal were long balls.

Best title race in ages for sure.

The past few years have been very boring, even as a Man Utd fan the league wasnt very exciting.

After United's dreadful run of reults earlier in the season the run they are currently on feels ever the more sweeter after countless amounts of people ruled them out of the title race.

I really wish i had put a bet on when the odds were 10/1 to win the title...

Judging by current form, United should win the title no doubt. But this has been a funny season...still a while to go yet. And lets see how united perform in the league when the champions league starts again...
