After posting, you then feel the need to repeatedly put your name at the bottom of each and every post.
Do you think we're in any doubt as to who wrote your post with your name at the top left of entry?
Do you think it marks you out as a cool individual, somehow different to others?
Do you think it adds gravitas to a post?

"It's a signature" - no, it's pointless as your signature is your name anyway with a tagline.

I only do it after Posts or spoofs. "Thanks for reading" Etc. It's polite, I guess. I mean, I can stop if it irritates you, but I'm sure you don't read my posts, so it doesn't really matter.
