Pac Land, one of my all time favourite games, was made the year I was born, 1984.

Just thought I'd like to share that with you.

Where did I get this wonderful piece of information from?

Why, the top 100 retro games, in according to some bloke somewhere. I'll have to try and play some of these.

Head over heels only made 89? That's a travesty!

Dizzy only made 83? Shoot this guy!

Yikes. Streetfighter 2 on the megadrive now counts as retro. I'm having trouble getting used to the idea of that...

Super hang on at 57. That was a classic. Never played it that much though.

YES YES YES YES YEEEEEEES!!!
PARADRIOD AT NUMBER ONE!!!!
Quality game, truly quality. It was released on the spectrum as Quazatron, which is the version I played. Some of you might have noticed I mentioned it a while back.

It deserves to win, it really does.

Though there were a few great games that didn't make the list - Boulderdash anyone? Arkanoid? Donkey kong? I'm sure this guy must've missed them by accident... no retro fan could leave them out, surely?

Well I was born in 1982!

I remember games such as Chuckie Egg, Mr E, Repton (1, 2, 3, Around the World in 80 Screens), Saber Wulf, Knight Lore, Citadel etc etc

Did you know Pacman was originally called puckman but they were afraid people may replace the "P" so they changed it :-)

Yup, Commander Keen ruled. They're bringing him to the GBA, too, if I remember rightly.

1986 here.

The first game I trully remember properly was/is Wolfenstein 3D. Played through the whole game with my Dad, me firing, him controlling movement. Other two notable games I feel the need to mention are the Commander Keen series and Prince of Persia.

I was born in 1984 too, but we are in different academic years, I suspect.
