Right, say some bloke with plenty of cash gave you the chance to turn any idea, tv program, film, book or one of your own into a game.

What would you choose?
Which famous folk would do the voices?
Who would you ask to develop it?

Brief idea behind the game. ie what you have to do and why..

Just curious as to what you would see as being your ideal game.

Indeed. I tried playing Monkey Island 4... urgh, it was terrible.

Hmm, might re-install Full Throttle, Day Of The Tentacle or Monkey Island 3... (have 1+2 already installed)

I'd turn my book I'm writing into a game. Although I don't think it'd be very good, I'd still get me some money.
Maybe.

And I'll turn all my game ideas into games when I become a games designer, which I will.
Maybe.

I thought this would be Aliboy's adventure's in homo-land - being curious.

Ah well, you'll all be playing MY games one day. And that feels just great.
And you'll be reading MY books. Hardy-har-har.

I'm gonna have a great life.

Just quickly thinking, I'd probably go for the book, Bravo Two Zero, or maybe another book by Andy McNab.

I'd try and get him to do the voices and stuff, but since he has to keep low, that could be a problem.

If not, I'd try and get someone like "Hargrove" from Medal of Honor, but a British equvilent of course.

In the end, though, I'd probably go for someone like Robert Carlysle or something.

Novalogic possibly to develop it, they do good Army like games. Maybe even EA, basing it kinda on the MoH style.

It'd just be based quite closely to the book.
The insertion being the first mission, and finding out your equipment does't work.
This'd be where it ended.

Then, you'd have to quickly establish cover etc, and the second level would possibly be one of the hardest in the game.
Defending your squad from the Iraqi troop, just as in the book, consisting of a tank here and there and some bloodthirsty hyper soldiers.

Probably in that part, a few sort of in game cinematics, such as the Iraqi's going crazy because this is their chance to make their first kill.

Parts of the book would be in here, such as one of you mates (can't remember his name now) being shot by an Iraqi LAW.

Later missions would include travelling through the vast desert attempting to avoid enemy troops.

Also, near the end could be the interrogation, based on MGS with the Metal Gear bit.

Escaping from the War Prison etc, and gaining weapons for yourself, to defend yourself with.

Side missions could be to attempt to find your squadmates who are being held in the compound, and freeing them.

A few vague ideas in there, but with a bit more thought I could probably develop more.

I'd get Revolution Software to make Broken Sword 3, but in 2D like the other ones, not the poncy 3D style that make point and clicks terrible. And I'd have Eliza Dushku voice a character that looks exactly like her.

I have messed around with ideas in the past, but I think the one I would like to see most is an A-Team based game.

Take your pic from one of the main characters and the game is then based around you saving and rescuing one of the others or carrying out a plan.
Have a free roam kind of feel like GTA3.

I want to be Mr T with a machine gun just to throw it down and beat some punks down before driving off in my van.

one day...one day.
