Freddy was only supposedly "scary" because of his face.

If he was Ross from Friends (for example), I doubt people would find it at all horrible. Would probably find it funny they would.

Personally, I think they all suck....granted I've only seen two out of the what..seven? But they sucked so I'm betting the rest do too.
