I want to talk about Zelda: The Wind Wakers graphics.
Can everyone please, for the love god, shutup and leave off about them.
First you had everyone getting real angry and defecting from Nintendo becaues of the cel shaded look - saying they wanting an "adult" more realistic lokking zelda game (by adult, what do they want? A naked Princes Zelda - wait, that would be pretty sweet).
Now everyone has accepted the games look because Nintendo carried n and didnt alter the games look because of the outcry.
But everyone is (by everyone i mean the magazines that are all currently reveiwing import copies) going on about how good the graphics are and that peolple should be open minded and that your a fool if judge a game by its graphical style.

my plee to you all is to shutup about zelda's graphics full stop, dont say how silly they look, dont say how great they are - just focus on the classic and brilliant Zelda gameplay.

Thankyou for listening to my rant, even if Im about 6 months late.

Where did you see the game in motion when this "bottlenecking" took place?

I thought you were reffering to the momentary time stop effect when you perform a strong attack one someone.

I've had battles with 5 enemies at once and expirenced no slowdown so far..

What kind of effect makes the screen look jerky as if the graphics have bottlenecked?

Slowdown, an effect? Zelda better not be incorporating some kind of bullet-time effect. If I see another game that uses it Im gonna eat my PS2 and have my GC for afters.

IB

Don't worry, it isn't slowdown, it's an effect, if you've played Starfox Adventures then you'll know what I mean, otherwise it's hard to explain.

Why do some people believe that zelda is an "adult" franchise anyhow?

The gamecube on the other hand is a general console with a kiddie image but more adults have them coz of it being Nintendo and all.
