How do all!

Well, I finally got me a gamecube, so I'm allowed in here. Got a really good deal - I went into game to trade in a bunch of old ps2 games and they had a preowned cube with 2 games, which after tradein i only paid £31 for. Not bad, if i say so myself...

Anyway, seeing as I havent been looking at cube releases or anything, and i havent managed to buy any mags or anything, i have a few questions...

Which is the best cube mag? I usually get the Official PS2 mag and PSM2 if that helps

And I very nicely have a gad to claim, and i was thinking of mario party 4. anyone got any better ideas?

Actually, I found there to be slightly some slowdown on the second track in the game, whatever it's called.

Other import games to consider if you were to get a freeloader:
Cubivore and Sonic Mega collection.

Games already out that are simply must have (as long as you like the genre)

There are loads of 3rd party games that are damn good but I'm guessing if you've already got a PS2 then you'd already own most the games if you really wanted them.

Oh and get NGC, all the other mags are rubbish.

I'm just saying if Starfox was free it would be a good game - I havent played it for ant length of time so I cant form an opinion on it...yet.
But, I would'nt buy it from the reviews and general criticism it has received - but free as a gameaday prize it probably would be more enjoyable than if you payed for it.

Ooooh, now you've done it. Eternal Darkness maybe, but I wouldn't advise anyone to choose/buy Starfox Adventures on these forums. Personally, I like the game (even if it is proving easy and linear), but a lot of people don't.

Expect Tiltawhirl to try and sneak up on you with a rusty crowbar at every opportunity. :D

The best Gamecube magazine out there is NGC.

And as for a Gameaday prize... Mario Party 4, like everyone else has said, is excellent in multiplayer, but pretty crap on your own. I'd recommend Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Melee or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4... or choose Metroid Prime or Zelda, if you can wait.

Also, get Extreme G 3 if you see it. You can get it dirt cheap now. I've played it to death recently. That game owns.*

As I said before NGC is the best Gamecube mag, and if you subscribe you get a free logic 3 controller which the mag rates as second best to official controllers.

Yeah. Although on saying that i have rarely played the same game twice. Its just that the bad games show up more than the good.
