I have written an essay for English which I had 4 weeks to do in 5 hours...

The Catcher in the Rye, 1659 words of pure genius.

Now I think I might be able to get to sleep now.

scary big bang debate
proffesor say universe is at a critical mass point
if universe has less than critical point then universe will not stop expanding as there will not be enough gravitational force to stop it, if above critical point then universe will have the big crunch effect.
But professor not sure on which side the universe is on.

I don't want to get in a debate or nothing because I am not exactly Steven Hawkins

But science teaches that it is impossible to get something from nothing.

Yet everything had a beginning

so at some point there was nothing

All the theories about it. What evidence made us think the universe was expanding, what contradictions there were, whether we'll get a big crunch or not, etc.

Catcher in the Rye is a great book. Why not post your essay in the new Movies, blah, blah and BOOKS forum, it would be the first book-related post of interest...

Bah. I've got an essay to do soon.

I thought doing computer science as a degree would mean no essays, but I was wrong.

3000 word AI essay in the summer term last year. 2000 word article review last term, and now I have less than two weeks to do a 2000 word essay on 'Big Bang' theory.

Ah well. That's what I get for taking the optional physics module....
