Thankfully, games developers seem to have a little more common sense. Girls, think of it like this. What would make your boyfriend more happier and in love with you: A soppy CD that they'll only play when you're around, just to keep you happy? Or a videogame full of blood, gore, explosions and destruction?
I know which I would prefer.
Ofcourse I was talking about the games. I would be under the impression that more love and attention had been put into choosing the Valentine's day present rather than just think you've taken the guy's approach to present buying which generally ends up involving purchasing the first piece of tat that they think will do.
The videogames developers seem to know how to approach St. Valentine's day too.
None of this luvvy-duvvy stuff. Instead they release titles that involve killing and painful duelling, often with blood, guts and anything else to do with an 18 rating from the BBFC that all guys love to see in a beat-em-up; titles that involve the sudden increase in testosterone levels as 'good' and 'evil' fight it out to toy with the balance of power in the modern world of warfare; titles that see giant robotic tortoises that breathe fire and attempt to destroy you with their robotic necks, and all this to remind us that Valentine's day is just as much a day for fancy chocolates and love making as any day should be.

It could have been a blessing in disguise that that N64-DD never got released - otherwise we'd've seen Doshin sooner and the shelf space taken by that game would be roughly triple what it is now!
