As mentioned by Alex, some birds buy for us guys...i have never spent much money on girls at all. Some may say im stingy, i'd like to call it cruel intelligence : )

Like, yea ok we buy them things and take them out because thats the done thing, but why can't women ever buy men a cracking present, which cost slightly more than £10 and your not forced to say "err.. thats great darling."

Personally i see it as a challenge to get something nice and I'm quite happy to buy something once a year to get a good reaction in return.
