Im trying to decide on what game to get next for my GC,
Ny current collection is:
Star Wars Rogue Leader, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Waverace: Blue Storm, Resident Evil, Super Monkey Ball, Turok: Evolution, Super Mario Sunshine, Exttreme-G 3, Burnout, Smugglers Run: Warzones.

And Ive ordered Metroid Prime on Import.

The 4 games Im gonna choose from are:
Eternal Darkness - To compliment Resident Evil.
Starfox Adventures - To pass the time in the run up to Zelda coming out.
Star Wars: Clone Wars - something to keep my trigger finger happy.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle - its Sonic on a Nintendo machine with GBA link up.

Any advice as to which it should be.

Eternal Darkness is my second favourite Nintendo games.

It brings surivival Horror into the next generation it truly does, innovative magick system, brand new insanity idea mixed with some zombie blasting/hack and slash.

It is longer than Resident Evil once through on both and you'll never ever play a game like it (unless they make a sequel)... 4 years to make a legend of a title.

You don't play the game, the game plays you.

Genius... give Mr. Dyack an award.

That's a load of crap really isn't it?

As much as I enjoyed Resi the fact is it's dated. Capcom have been happy to stick with the same game mechanics for at least 6 years, the game have barely changed in 6 years. The controls are clunky and the gameplay style is very dated.

Eternal Darkness may not have the same atmosphere as Resi but at least it moves the genre on. The storyline, the controls, the original gameplay concepts amongst many other things all put the Resident Evil series to shame.

They're both great games don't get me wrong but saying Eternal Darkness is a poor mans Resident Evil is just ignorant. It shows the same attitude that haunts the majority of the game buying public, rather stick with the norm instead of trying something new.

I love Res Evil. Eternal Darkness just doesn't compare. It's a poor man's survival horror.

With a name like Starfox why would you think that?

Eternal Darkness is the one game out of the 4 that stands-out from the rest as the one you should go for.
I've also heard that Star Wars: Clone Wars isn't that good, while StarFox Adventures does have its moments, even if it is a little short. It can still be quite an enjoyable game, though. But it's not Zelda, like you may think.

And the Sonic game's s'posed to be pretty good, but no Sonic Adventure game can even compare to any-one of the MegaDrive classics.
And it ain't no Mario, either.

Eternal Darkness tops that list, StarFox closes-in as second-choice.
