"Freeloader query"

My Freeeloader arrived in the post this morning (from gameXchange, who were very fast), only to open it up and se that the version mine is Version 1.0!!! (European Version).

What does this mean?

(I can't check if it works, because I don't have AC yet, but any info would be be nice as I can't seem to find anything on it on the web - hopefully I'm just making an idiot of myself and everyone says that...maybe.)

I hate AC. So boring.

But Zelda... now THAT is a classic game. I whizzed through the fire temple, which is very surprising considering I found OoT a pain in the backside. But some of the puzzles are so ingenious, yet so obvious. Like

In one of the rooms in the fire cavern (like Dodongo thingy in OoT), there's simply a big pool of lava and a few jar thingies by the side. They're filled with water.
When you throw one of them onto the lava, it cools the lava and provides a temporary platform for you to jump on. At the far side of the lava pit, is a big geyser type thing out of the lava that regularly spurts up lava.
What you got to do, is throw one of the jars onto the lava, just before it's about to spurt upwards. This creates a temporary platform, which if you jump on, will act like an elevator.

There's also a big emphasis on using fire to burn down walls etc., and cutting ropes on bridges and what not. Great stuff.

I got a model Lighthouse

It has a working light too

All you get is chocolates. That is all.

I thought I'd get a NES game too, thats why I went forward in time and did it every night... That and the fact Nook shut down his store for refurbishment.

Heh, I nearly did, but got it just in time. That makes two nights now.

I'm glad to report I'm an idiot.

Because I never inserted the Freeloader disc into the GC, I never saw what version it really was, and I assumed that the version number given in the manual was the version of the Freeloader. However, having checked on some FAQs it appears it was a common query, and the version i ACTUALLY HAVE IS 1.06.

Problem solved.

It should be fine with AC. It was Resi Evil 0 that had problems, if I remember.

I'm going to try it with AC first, but most of all I'm surprised I got such an early version. I've email Datel, just have to wait and see what they've got to say...

I think it's something to do with an upgrade Russ. According to some people, you're able to send back your version 1.0 and get a 1.6 back in the post from Datel. But then again, don't quote me on that... :D
