Be the first person here to beat me at NetStorm.
It's an online RTS game, there's a thread around here somewhere. Oh yeah, you can get it for free too.
Full Game:

or
http://www.geocities.com/nimbianeagle/NetStorm.zip
(Don't worry, it's only 11.7 MB)
If you want a modded Exe to play the single player missions as well as playing online, use this:
http://www.venom2.free-online.co.uk/zipped/VenomStorm.zip
(about 1 MB)
RULES OF THE COMPETITION:
1) The winner is the first person to beat me, one on one, in a best of three match. Top Vs Bottom, top serves, alternate positions after each game.
2) A 'win' is classified as when my temple and workshops have all been destroyed, and my priest sacrificed - or If I concede the match.
3) No cheats are allowed. No assistance is allowed. Straight 1v1 only.
4) I might change these rules, if anyone finds a dodgy 'loophole' in them.
Any question, post here or ask me on MSN - [email protected]
That was one of the bugs in it... you can build walls, as long as they touch one another, all over the map.
Then you can build stuff next to the walls... or just surround the enemy base.
Actually, I might have a go at sorting that out, now that I've got the windows CD with me.
"Original gameplay is out there. It's here."
Very true. You can pick up and play this like any other rts, but it's very difficult to master.
Like that game... Othello.
Come on people, you want a free game, don't you?
This isn't because I'm brilliant. I'm not. There are an awful lot of people out there who can beat me.
It's because this game is unique. It has something you don't see these days. A true learning curve. You can't master it quickly, because you've never played anything like it before. An RTS freak could master any C&C clone in a week. He couldn't do it with NetStorm.
Original gameplay is out there. It's here.
I'm not sure what I like most about this game... but the comment on the back of the case says all you really need to know.
"It's really different out here"
> why are you giving away a game?
To encourage people to play Netstorm.
Game opponents can be worth much more than games.
Besides, he's not actually going to give a game away.
I've been playing Netstorm for nearly a month and I can't touch him.
Then again, I'm not a big RTS pro...
