"Is cel shaded graphics is the future for all games?"

I have seen some games now that are using cel shaded graphics and to me they dont look that good the game X111 (thirteen) is cell shaded and so is zelda on the gamecube now if all games turn out to be like this as i have heard feom one of the makers of games then it will ruin all the games and no-one will buy them anymore just imagine grand theft auto or the getaway or one of your favourite game cell shaded would you like it or not. Please let me know what your point of view is towards this problem

Note: Zelda is not cel-shaded - similar style, but not the same.

It is very naive of anyone to think that cel-shading will replace the type of graphics we're used to in ALL games.

After all, cel-shading is better for childrens games, anything cartoon related and the wierd (like Jet Set Radio). It obviously doesn't suit all games, just like the normal style of graphics doesn't suit all games (Simpson's Road Rage for example).

Cel-shading does not suck, it's just different, and so, you are afraid. Try a security blanket!

It would completely spoil the GTA series. That Racoon (I don't know its name) game uses the cell shading technique ok, but I wouldn't like to see cell shading become popular.

i knew other people would agree with me it sucks i had an argument with my friend about it and he says that it look really good an that it is the best thing that happened to games

I think that celshading is good, but not that good, i mean on some games it works well, Like Zelda, but on others, like the GTA series, i don't think it'll work.

I certainly hope that developers will wise up and stop using cell shading. To put it bluntly, it is . They look cartoonish and rubbish. More and more games have cell shading, and it puts me off buying them.
