Nintendo today announced that they intend to announce the date on which the Nintendo Gamecube's European release date will be announced within the next few days.

"We should announce the announcement date in the next few days." Said Geoffrey Suckface, President of Nintendo Europe.

There is much speculation that the date will be announced during the Millia games show to take place in France early in February, but until the official announcement date announcement ceremony, which will feature a parade of Nintendo characters marching to the music of the Backstreet Boys, nothing can be assured.

Given that Nintendo have twice before promised to make the annoucement date announcement, but failed to, most notably at The Nintendo Show in London last year, where a crazed Pokémon fan had attempted to kidnap the real Pikachu, nothing should be taken for granted.

There is much speculation that Nintendo will announce a March release for the Gamecube, but given that there are another 3 announcement stages before the official launch this now seems unlikely.

Gary Wilmot was said to be 'speechless'.

I was slamming my own head if anyone hadn't noticed. Normally there's a few cheers shouted and so on so on.

Don't you think that it's better we have a sort of date and it's sooner then when the x-box comes out. Anyway it's good to hope isn't it.

I'll have a look and on the way there I'll look foward to it!

Erm...

Meh@WW.

I am getting VERY peeved at Nintendo at the moment, because they fail to give us a reliable release date. Damn them - damn them to hell! Shiggy Miyamoto - you go to hell, you go to hell and you die for having the most perculiar smile ever.

Not even my advanced smilie keyboard can replicate such a deranged and diseased smilie. :D

"Nintendo today announced that they intend to announce the date on which the Nintendo Gamecube's European release date will be announced within the next few days."

Grrr - I thought they had already announced a dozen and a half release dates, but they keep changing them. Don't tell me that this is just another delayed date. I'd rather not know.

"We should announce the announcement date in the next few days." Said Geoffrey Suckface, President of Nintendo Europe."

Meh - representative trash - they just say what you want to hear. I call that big fat monkey balls until I hear it.

"Given that Nintendo have twice before promised to make the annoucement date announcement, but failed to, most notably at The Nintendo Show in London last year, where a crazed Pokémon fan had attempted to kidnap the real Pikachu, nothing should be taken for granted."

Some retarded kid tried to steal Pikachu!? Meh...

I am really starting to get impatient with Nintendo, as they keep letting us down, holding us back etc. I'm glad I'm currently betting on an X-Box. When has Bill Gates ever proven us wrong? :D
