The game is going to be released in the spring so that leaves a few months to when the actually release date is but I am guessing it should be around when The Ledgend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
The Sims will feature a new mode called "Get A Life". This lets you just get to expireance the big moments of in life, like getting a job , having a family.
This game will be n ot just 1 player but there is a 2 player options to go head to head with building up your charictors life or a co-operative mode in 2 player and this will let you both control the family you are creating.
The sims are great on the pc and are just coming out on the ps2 and soon the GameCube.

Yes. I totally agree of what you are saying.

You may think its a better game but really the sims is people and Animal Crossing is just gay little tiny cute *blah* animals.

I know it isn't the best game EVER made but the best simualation game ever. If you want to say differently tell the millions of sium fans.
Just goes to show, the PS2 can still run with the best - The Sims looks better on PS2 than on PC.
The cheapest Sims (PC) goes for £20 in Woolworths - not £10.
I think you need at least a Pentium II PC with Windows 98, 4Mb Video card, 4x speed CD-ROM drive, and 64Mb Ram to run the Sims on PC. I do know that PC's with the original Pentium or Pentium MMX (or anything older) chip can't run the game.
No Mac version yet.
