Having a long-standing allergy to Oasis, I downloaded some acoustic stuff with just Noel singing and two of the songs are fan-bloody-tastic.

"Talk Tonight" and "Half The World Away".
Without chimpboy's nasal whine (sorry, "Wiiiiiyiiiiiine"), the songs can actually be stomached.

Imagine that.

Also got The Charlatans "You're so pretty", that's excellent as well.
And "Black Better" by Ram Jam. You know the one, "Whoa Black Betty, ramalam...". You may think that song sucks, but go listen to it.
It rules.
As does "Peaches" by The Stranglers - this is my new theme tune that plays in my head whenever I enter a room.

Well apparantly for the majority of 'Morning Glory' Liams voice was put through an auto-tuner.

Doesn't surprise me cos he tends to drift off the notes when singing live...

Apparently Liam refuses to sing Wonderwall live, because he has so much trouble keeping it in tune.

He's alright on the shouty songs, "D'you know what I mean?" rocks, but other than that one his voice makes my head hurt and teeth itch.

I give Liam his dues cos songs like Rock n Roll Star or Supersonic wouldn't have suited his brother but Noel is just in another class.

That boy'll go far you know. You heard it here first...

I think I could seriously like Oasis if that chimp didn't holler on all the songs.

Get rid of the simian with one-pitch vocal ability and they'd be so much better

Talk Tonight ranks as one of Noels finest moments. One thing he does is inject a little more soul into songs than his brother.. Raised the hairs on the back of my neck when I first heard it, that song.

Yeah, this is a live acoustic version with quite a few of those.
It's just such a top tune.

Half The World Away is a top tune - my big brother used to force us into a half an hour refrain of "I don't feel down" when we were messing about playing it.
