1. A 'rant' is usually an incoherent expression of rage, manifested through screaming, shouting and spitting on yourself and others.
2. What Plastic-Coated had produced was, in fact, nothing more than a well-written insight into the lack of origionality in games.
3. I either want a real rant posted, or the 5 minutes back that i took to read it.
Thankyou.

This is what the dictionary says:
rant vti
to speak in a very loud, aggressive, or bombastic way, usually at length and repetitively
n
speech or language that is very loud and threatening but also monotonous
On the topic of the meaning of rant, though, Fat Sow on Digitiser is a rant and it's voilent etc.
Just saying, Im not taking sides or saying who's right/wrong, ... (easy now pc - pour yourself a drink, that that feels better now).
Bah!
I wouldn't call it particularly extravagant (But that's my opinion)
Shall we leave it at that?
Extravagant writing can be called a rant. What for of extravagance is not specified, therefore anything that you can define as extravagantly written is a rant.
I deem Plastic's post worthy of the honour of being called extravagantly written, it is therefore a rant. Not much point arguing.
hmmmm?
as taken from dictionary.com
"or extravagant" being the key words here. Extravagance is neither necessarilly violent or lacking in meaning.
You're just misinformed.
