Yes, in the way that Mario's still there, and he still jumps a lot.
No ice world though, and too many water worlds. The fools.

Heh, yeah and that Sharks Island (or whatever it was called).
At the end of the game it showed you previews of getting there and so on for the sequel although in Banjo Kazzoie you still couldn't get the Ice Key or to Sharks Island, it was a whole new area, ha ha ha.

Speaking of Banjo Kazzoie, what a snowy level. One of THE best ever. There's something about snow levels that just rocks!

And the music on that level was wicked... I'd get the ol' 64 out just to hear it again.
I preferred the music on the last level, the spring part I think where the bees join in with it. Now that's catchy.
Sad fact - I used to hum that tune on my paperound.

It is a bit... but every christmas time i sorta hum the end theme music to mario 64.
