If I bought a US/Candadian Gamecube, I have seen one for £150 inc P&P ex VAT and import duties, Would it work here in the UK?

I have spent £550 on my equipment all from this country.

I got -

Jet Black Japanese Gamecube with American Mod,
Stepdown Converter,
S Video AND AV Leads,
2 x Memory Card,
1 Jet Black Controller,
1 Clear Indigo Controller,
6 Games (all US versions) - Luigi's Mansion, Wave Race Blue Storm, Tony Hawks 3, Fifa 2002, Super Monkey Ball and Rogue Leader 2.

I think I got a pretty good deal. My next buys will be Pikmin, Super Smash Bros Melee from the states and Doshin 2 and Animal Leader from Japan.

3 games , wave race , monkey ball and rogue leader. all in one auction for $96 , which is about £69.

2 memory cards for around £10 a piece from liksang.
and an extra controler from lik sang for £23.
i dunno how much customs will charge though , as i only bought it yesterday.
do you think you get charged by customs for buying on ebay ?
when it gets to the uk , how do they bill you for the customs ?
