Isn't it Pancake day?

Pancake day is on shrove tuesday. The day before Lent starts, which is the 40 days before Easter. which CHANGES EVERY YEAR!

Pancake day = Shrove Tuesday.

Shrove Tuesday = day before Ash Wednesday

Shrove Tuesday = beginning of Lent

Lent = 40 days before Easter

Easter 2003 = 20th April

According to that, Shrove Tuesday (pancake day) is the 11th of March, some 3 weeks away.

Your right. I'm a week out somewhere. But i checked pancake day is the 4th of march.

March 4th. According to ASDA's pancake display I saw the other day.

Just let me know when I can get my pancakes and i'll be a happy man.

Look's like the shops have it wrong. Commerciality has re-arranged the most important date in the Christian calendar.

Now if you want. Just because it's "Pancake day" doesn't mean thats the only day of the year you're allowed pancakes.
