Well Well then it appears that Splinter Cell the so called Xbox exclusive was infact a multi platform game from the very beginning and infact the developers actually wanted to make sure they could achieve the same level of detail on the PS2 and GC games otherwise they would have never have started the project.

Infact the PS2 version has extras, that are geared more towards the PS2 user as they demand more and have higher skill level, not my words but the actual developers comments.

Then again I can imagine that it's a hard game for Xbox users because of their poorly designed controllers.

I can see that you have never played it then.

What about the missions in Driver?

Super Monkey Ball is just one idea over and over again. The mini games are nothing more than just a slight variation of the theme.

And why not? Super Moneky Ball is a superb game. Driver is an over-rated piece of crap where you just drive around for little apparent reason.

So let me get this straight, you're quite happy to play Driver, in which all you do is drive around. Quite linear.

But you won't play Monkey Ball, which contains:

A superbly modern version of the classic "marble madness" one of the greatest puzzle games ever made

A mini-golf game
A pool game
A racing game
A bowling game
A fighting game
A pilotwingsesque parachuting game

And multiplayer on every single one of those modes.

Hmmm...

He just doesn't like it because it wasn't on the PS2 first.

IB, I reckon it's because he'd be rubbish at it. He wouldn't even be able to complete the second stage. He probably has no analogue control whatsoever! So he played it once, and thought it was rubbish when, in actual fact, he couldn't play it!

What about the party games - I've lost count of how many times I've had a drunken game of monkey bowling with 3 other mates...

No, because Super Monkey Ball is a narrow game idea that should be sold for about £2. It's just so limited and is never worth it's cost.
