Air raid is good as I used it for the spider on level 8. It is in the DMC thread. JAT's always post the same message at least 10 times but in different threads.

Hes armoured some times, but shooting and sword swinging will kill him. As wookiee said jump on his back, this is his major weak spot.
I found that doing a forward-flip on its back and hacking away at it works a treat.
Failing that, buy some Holy Water with your orbs, if you have enough... instant bug-killer.
