Hello and welcome to Bazzman's Gameaday for Dummies.. er.. Gameaday Guide? Anyhooo.. lets get down to business.
First you must decide which Gameaday prize you are going for. This can either be the normal 3 GADs or an Extra GAD if there is currently one up for grabs.. but don't worry if you can't decide just yet as I will run through how to win each and then you can decide.
Gameaday Prize 1 (UKchatforums.com) - ""This means your post must be original, eye-catching and engaging. Winning posts are likely to be well-written and well thought-out, with good spelling and grammar, but most of all, it should be entertaining to read. Topics like 'Which console is best' are unlikely to win, because they've been done so many times before.""
This is a direct quote from the Special Reserve website on how to win this GAD... but that was written years ago.. Tony and the rest of the Staff have forgotten about this! So go to your favourite search engine and type in the first thing that you think of as no matter what it is it should win as you have (hopefully) been the first person to submit it to the site. When you have edited it a bit by adding "Thanks By Me" at the bottom of it, you should sit back and watch your brillant work be praised by other users and in no time you will either have a new tagline or a gameaday!!
Gameaday Prize 2 - (UKreviews.com) ""This means your review must be honest, eye-catching and entertaining to read. Our customer-submitted reviews are important to us,because other customers rely on them to see whether or not a product is worth buying, so it must be informative as well as entertaining. You can review any game or piece of hardware in our database, including digital cameras, MP3 player, printers, laptops, gadgets - anything you like!""
Again this is from Special Reserve but there is no time to lose!! People may be actually writing a good review.. *THE HONEST WAY!* So you need to act fast in order to beat them to it, so back to your search engine you go, and type in a game that hasn't been released yet or if all else fails.. MAKE A REVIEW UP!. Don't worry SR won't notice your review for Grand Theft Auto 5 is fake and even if they do you can just tell them your uncle Bill got it on pirate for you from Tunisia. To really fool them, edit it slightly by adding "I think" and "I remember" a few time as this will really impress the SR moderaters. Now don't forget to check the winners page as you should win with your brilliant reviews.
Gameaday Prize 3 - (UKcheats.com, UKhints.com or UKwalkthroughs.com) ""One prize will be awarded to the best submission to one of the three sites every day. With cheats and hints, the more you submit the better, and we'd prefer it if you wrote your own (although cheats/hints that are in the public domain are acceptable). Winning walkthroughs must be written by you, and must detail clearly how to advance through the game. Good quality walkthroughs are more likely to win than cheats or hints.""
OK, first make a list of five or six games that havnt been released yet or that don't have cheats displayed. Then make up some cheats that are not too ridiculous such as: *TOMB RAIDER 7: PS3: LARA'S BOOB GUNS, HOLD SELECT AND PRESS TRIANGLE, X, SQUARE THEN RESET THE ELECTRICS IN YOUR HOUSE* A few like these will surely get you a GAD as SR cannot check if you are lying!! :D
The hints are easy too.. get the instruction book of a game, GT:3 for instance and copy some of them from there. Such as X will accelerate the car and Start will pause the game.
Walkthroughs require the trusty search engine again. Type in Resident Evil and copy and paste all of it into your box. The part that says *COPYRIGHT RESIDENT-EVIL-WALKTHROUGHS.COM* will not matter as the silly moderaters of SR will forget about it as they read on and realise how great it is.
Follow my simple rules and you will easily win plenty of GAD
