Hi there,

I bought an RGB-AV Cable for my lovely N64 but all I get is a blank black screen when I try to play my games. The TV is a Bush model which has a built in video player and I recently phoned up Bush (not president Bush) and they say it's RGB compatable so that's not the problem. The power lead is attached properly to my N64 because the red light lights up on the system, the TV also powers-up ok so that proves the power lead is plugged in, and there's only so hard one can push an RGB cable into the N64 and TV connectors without breaking them. Oh, and before you ask, the game cartridge is properly pushed in.

So there's not much else I can think of that mite be causing the problem other than maybe an option on the TV needs adjusting or something. But there's not many options on my TV. I have tried the old conventional Aeral method to see if the problem is also there but my games load fine, albeit with the usual aerial static fuzz. Suggestions please?

Ye, I've pressed the AV button on the remote and the game isn't showing. All channels are basicly black including the AV channels. It must be the RGB cable like you said as I can't get a game picture on my down stairs TV either. It's annoying when something like this happens as it's going to takes ages to swop it around for another. Knowing how the Royal Mail is, and the company involved.

If you have one on your remote, press the AV button.

If you have done, either the cable or the scart slot on your TV are duff.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
